Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting project delivery, including coordination, reporting, stakeholder engagement and providing sound advice to project leads and senior executives.

About This Role

This is a challenging and dynamic position that requires strong leadership skills, effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate and manage projects from inception to completion;
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives;
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules and budgets;
  • Coordinate and manage resources, including personnel, materials and equipment;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and provide timely updates to stakeholders;
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans;
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget;
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g. business, engineering, science);
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a government or corporate environment;
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills;
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software (e.g. Asana, Trello, MS Project).
