Are you looking for a role that combines governance with people and culture? We seek a dedicated and strategically minded individual to join our Board as a Director of People and Culture.

This is a pivotal opportunity to contribute to the leadership and mission of our organisation, committed to community service and spiritual care. As a Director, you will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the organisation, ensuring effective governance, and supporting the performance and development of senior leaders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Effective governance of our organisation;
  • Involvement in formulating strategic directions and the approval of strategic plans;
  • Recruitment and managing performance of senior leaders;
  • Reviewing, approving and monitoring business operations and organisational policies;
  • Contributing to the development of Board and organisational policies;
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement and networking on behalf of the organisation;
  • Identifying skills required by the Board and potential candidates for Board positions.

You will be expected to attend approximately 11 Board meetings and other special meetings as may be called, and serve on at least one Board committee per year. You will also be required to do associated preparation ahead of Board and Committee meetings, including reading papers to allow informed and active contribution at meetings.
