We are seeking a Principal Hydraulics Engineer to work on a variety of projects including aviation, health, commercial, and defense. This role will involve leading hydraulics discipline on major projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary engineers, developing and mentoring junior engineers, delivering projects, managing client relationships, and supporting national teams.

  • Lead hydraulics discipline on projects.
  • Collaborate with engineers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Develop and mentor junior engineers.
  • Sign off on designs and calculations.
  • Deliver projects and manage client relationships.
  • Support national teams on various projects.
  • Be involved with design services for rainwater harvesting, sanitary plumbing, trade waste drainage, potable and non-potable water reticulation, hot and warm water systems, energy-efficient heating, solar hot water heating, specialist water systems, and water-efficient designs.

The ideal candidate has at least 10 years of experience in consulting environments with exposure to Australian standards and codes. Relevant qualifications such as TAFE or an Engineering degree alongside RPEV registration are required. A full understanding of MS Office suite and relevant industry software is essential.
