About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Demi Chef to join our team at Hilton Hotels. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and contemporary desserts that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute creative dessert menus that showcase the latest trends and demands in the restaurant and events industry.
  • Ensure that all dietary requirements are met and that our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Contribute to a safe, happy, and productive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  • Monitor and control costs to ensure that our kitchen operations are efficient and profitable.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Act as a Work, Health, and Safety ambassador, promoting a culture of safety and well-being within the team.
About You
  • You must have Australian working rights and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A current, valid, and relevant trade patisserie qualification is essential.
  • You should have knowledge of current food trends and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team is crucial.
