Job Title: Executive Head Culinary Officer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Head Culinary Officer to lead our culinary team at Stamford Grand Adelaide. As the head of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, menu development, and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team. You will work closely with our Director of Food and Beverage to develop and implement culinary strategies that align with our brand's vision and values.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food production, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Develop and implement new menu concepts that showcase our hotel's culinary expertise and appeal to a wide range of tastes.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of culinary professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front-of-house and events, to ensure seamless execution of food and beverage services.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in a similar position or a multi-outlet dining environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Demonstrated experience in training and developing culinary staff, with a focus on excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • A creative approach to menu development, with a passion for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
  • Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
