Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented junior talent acquisition professional to join our People & Culture team in Melbourne as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator. This fast-paced role is key to our Talent Acquisition function, supporting the coordination and facilitation of national talent acquisition activities in line with our strategy.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating recruitment processes, improving workflows, maintaining records, generating reports, and managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). You will also be responsible for running end-to-end recruitment of casual paralegal and other junior level positions, preparing position descriptions and job advertisements, screening applications, and conducting phone screenings.

You will work closely with the rest of the Talent Acquisition team and the broader People & Culture team to provide support and assistance in achieving our goals.

About the Role

This is a permanent full-time position based in Melbourne, offering hybrid and flexible working arrangements, including WFH and modern office spaces. We provide WFH IT equipment and reimburse up to $500 for additional equipment. Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in human resources or a related field;
  • At least two years of experience in talent acquisition/recruitment within a law firm, professional services, or recruitment agency;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
  • Solid understanding of recruitment processes and techniques;
  • Skills to continuously improve talent acquisition processes, workflows, systems, and technology;
  • Experience scheduling interviews and managing calendars/diaries in Microsoft Outlook;
  • LinkedIn Recruiter and/or social media tool experience is preferred but not essential;

Earn an estimated salary of around $85,000-$115,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, based on a standard 38-hour workweek. Regular performance reviews and opportunities for career growth are also available.
