About the RoleTalent International is seeking a highly skilled Land Acquisition Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in land acquisition to work with government teams and vendors to secure necessary sites.
This role is initially a 6-month contract, with the potential to extend. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing land acquisition processes in line with policies and regulations, negotiating and liaising with vendors, and coordinating with assessment teams.
Key Responsibilities- Manage land acquisition processes in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Negotiate agreements with vendors to finalise contracts.
- Coordinate with environmental and cultural heritage assessment teams to incorporate findings into acquisition strategies.
- Ensure efficient and timely delivery of land acquisition objectives.
- You have proven experience in land acquisition, preferably in a government or public sector setting.
- You possess strong negotiation skills and a solid understanding of acquisition processes and legislation.
- You are an effective communicator, able to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.
- You are proactive and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package to attract top talent.
$90,000 - $110,000 per annum based on location and experience
