As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in attracting top talent for The Reject Shop's Store Operations Network. Your key responsibilities will include partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, screening CVs in volume, and ensuring a positive candidate experience from start to finish.
You will utilise various sourcing methods, including online channels, social platforms, and professional networks, to find the best candidate for the role. This involves conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, reference checks, and candidate conversations at pace.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to own your divisions and support hiring managers with identifying top talent through passive searching. This is a high-volume, fast-paced environment, ideally suited to someone who has recruited in operational roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Sourcing: Utilise various sourcing methods to find the best candidate for the role, ensuring that you understand the job profile.
- Screening and interviewing: Conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, reference checks, and candidate conversations at pace.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience that reflects The Reject Shop's values by building relationships with external talent and developing future talent pools.
- Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated recruitment experience from a retail agency environment or retail internal recruitment role.
- Experience using online advertising platforms.
- Experience using ATS platform – preferably PageUp.
- A strong knowledge of recruitment within the retail sector.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage multiple expectations from Hiring Managers.
- Track record of achieving KPIs.
- A passion and drive for delivering exceptional candidate care and a quality recruitment experience every time.
Estimated Salary: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
