Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to contribute to business growth and develop their career in the oil and gas industry.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining and repairing subsea oil and gas equipment to ensure quality mechanical maintenance standards.
  • Sourcing necessary materials, equipment, parts, procedures, and qualifications to perform tasks according to WOP and BH EHS guidelines.
  • Commissioning, running, maintaining, and repairing Baker Hughes equipment, promoting and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory quality management systems.
  • Maintaining workshop equipment and facilities in operational condition using materials and support substances as required.
Key Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant workshop experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • The ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, possessing strong mechanical skills and the ability to multitask using technical equipment, with good problem-solving skills.
  • A Mechanical Fitting Cert III qualification or equivalent, along with basic mathematical, mechanical aptitude, and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers, with experience and knowledge of subsea equipment such as trees, chokes, IWOCS, and control systems preferred.
