Site Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Site Equipment Specialist to join our team at our Fulfillment Center in Jandakot.

The role involves conducting high-standard preventative maintenance on schedule, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and policies, and maximizing equipment availability through continuous improvement.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
  • Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work carried out.
  • React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
  • Support continuous improvement by learning from breakdowns and sending feedback and suggestions for improvements through the line manager.
  • Ensure high levels of equipment availability to internal customers.

About the Team:

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team works together to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment across our global network. From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing general maintenance and repairing key distribution equipment, our team handles various aspects of Amazon's technical side.

Key Qualifications

- Formal Trade Qualification: Completed a full Apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, qualified to a minimum of Certificate III, or an equivalent trade qualification formally recognized in Australia.

- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.

- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings.

- Experience of working to appropriate health and safety standards and regulations.

- Proven track record of maintaining equipment, resolving issues efficiently, and providing excellent customer service.
