Job Title: Mechanical Fitter

Our organisation is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to support the inspection, service, maintenance, and repair of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections, servicing, and repairs of mechanical rental equipment, winches, lifting equipment, including compressors, hydraulic power units, controls, air and hydraulic systems, and subsea ROV tooling.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Configure and integrate equipment into packaged solutions to enable effective on-site work.
  • Troubleshoot faults and provide technical assistance to equipment operators.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and certification requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of servicing, repairs, and equipment condition.
  • Assist with equipment mobilisation and demobilisation.
  • Complete detailed service reports and requisitions.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified Mechanical Fitter or Diesel Fitter.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment (rental, mining, construction, or industrial sector experience highly regarded).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Forklift and dogging tickets (desirable).
