Workshop Maintenance Specialist

The Role:

As a Workshop Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the mechanical maintenance of our subsea equipment is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and repairing subsea oil and gas equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensuring that all necessary materials, equipment, parts, procedures, and qualifications are available to perform the job according to set standards.
  • Commissioning, running, maintaining, and repairing Baker Hughes equipment to meet industry-leading standards.
  • Ensuring that workshop procedures cover actual work and are followed correctly.
  • Promoting and ensuring compliance to company and regulatory Quality management systems at all times.
  • Ensuring that workshop equipment and facilities are suitable and in operational condition.
  • Ensuring that WOPs are followed, filled in with necessary information, contain correct documentation, and are signed and completed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant workshop experience within the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Mechanical fitting cert III qualification or similar.
  • Good mechanical skills and ability to multitask while using technical equipment, showing good problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, have good mechanical aptitude, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate well with internal and external customers.
  • Experience and knowledge within the subsea segment, including trees, chokes, IWOCS, control systems, etc.
