Electrical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our Hedland Operations team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician to take the next step in their career while enjoying a residential lifestyle in Port Hedland.

As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our fixed plant equipment and ancillaries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair faults on electrical equipment
  • Perform high voltage switching and statutory testing
  • Respond to breakdowns and support shutdowns
  • Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and belt weighers
  • Backup parameters on ABB, Siemens & WEG drives
  • Keep accurate documentation, logbooks, and isolations
  • Drive improvements to boost safety and efficiency
Qualifications and Experience:

Our ideal candidate will possess a WA A-Grade Electrical Licence and HV switching ticket, along with strong fault-finding skills in continuous operations.

They will also have knowledge of VSDs, PLCs, Profibus/Profinet/DeviceNet and the ability to read and apply electrical schematics, isolation, and permitting.
