About Our OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our Fixed Processing Plant Maintenance function, encompassing Engineering, Planning, Shutdowns, and Maintenance Execution. As a key member of our Site Leadership Team, you will be accountable for delivering cost-effective asset management solutions that support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
This is a critical role that requires strong leadership skills, a proven track record in fixed plant maintenance, and a deep understanding of statutory safety requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities, developing and implementing effective maintenance strategies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and develop strategies to minimize downtime and maximize equipment availability.
- Lead a team of engineers, planners, and technicians to deliver maintenance execution, engineering, shutdowns, and planning services.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure optimal asset performance.
- Monitor and report on maintenance KPIs, including availability, mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), and work management metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive business outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a trade qualification with higher education.
- Significant experience in fixed plant maintenance, preferably in the mining industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of statutory safety requirements and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
