We're seeking a highly skilled Fixed Plant Maintenance Professional to join our team at the Port Hedland Operations. As part of this role, you'll play a vital hands-on part in ensuring the reliable operation of our fixed plant assets.
This shift-based position involves collaborating with our Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to identify and address plant defects, as well as conducting inspections across various online plant areas such as conveyors, train unloaders, balance machines & sample stations.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain effective plant operations through routine maintenance tasks.
- Monitor plant performance and detect any potential defects or issues that may impact operations.
- Carry out thorough inspections across key plant areas.
- Safeguard plant equipment and maintain high standards of reliability and efficiency.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in fixed plant maintenance, preferably in conveyor systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Project, and other industry-standard maintenance systems is highly regarded.
- Possess strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Enjoy a balanced lifestyle with a 4/3 roster, offering ample time for rest and relaxation.
