Fixed Plant Mechanical Technician

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a Fixed Plant Mechanical Technician to join our team at Hedland Operations.

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain plant performance through effective maintenance.
  • Identify and address plant defects by raising notifications and conducting repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections across online plant areas, including conveyors, train unloaders, balance machines, and sample stations.
  • Support dust suppression systems and ensure reliability across site.

 

What You Bring:

  • Experience in fixed plant maintenance, with conveyor expertise highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Confidence using SAP, Microsoft Project, and maintenance systems.
  • Able to develop risk assessments.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
