About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Aerospace Sales Executive to join our team at IFS. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and revenue expansion in the Aerospace and Defense industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Go-To-Market Strategy: Prepare and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for nominated industries, including identifying new business opportunities and developing targeted sales plans.
  • Manage Territory and Account Planning: Prepare, own, and maintain territory plans for agreed verticals, as well as account plans and action cards for named accounts.
  • Own the Sales Process: Own the end-to-end sales process, including demand generation, understanding customer needs, agreeing a mutual evaluation process, owning the RFI/RFP process, building a business case for change, and winning business.
  • Meet Sales Targets: 100% Sales Account Executive responsibility for owning annual sales targets and delivering as per quarterly budget.
  • Liaise with Sales Leadership and Global Teams: Liaise with sales leadership and global teams to build a strong internal network and collaboration.
  • Manage CRM Hygiene: Manage and maintain complete CRM hygiene, including sales cadence, administration, and reporting to ensure accurate forecasting.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: In-industry, enterprise software sales quota-carrying sales cycle delivery across the Australian market within the Aerospace and Defense industries.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of consistently meeting and over-achieving quota.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness and appreciation of the sales process, including cadence, forecasting, and accurate reporting.
  • Comfort in a Matrix-Rich Organisation: Be comfortable working within a matrix-rich organisation, building relationships, and finding support to get the job done.
