As Duty Shift Manager, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day leadership and operation of our screening services, overseeing a large and diverse workforce across multiple screening points at Adelaide Airport.

This position offers a unique opportunity to drive safe and efficient outcomes for all visitors to the airport, while contributing to Certis' vision of making the world safer, smarter, and better.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensuring efficient and compliant operations of multiple security screening points, including passenger, goods, and airside areas.
  • Utilizing your operational expertise to make adjustments and solve challenges that arise during the day.
  • Providing leadership to our Aviation Screening Officers, acting as an escalation point for concerns or performance management.
  • Liaising closely with key stakeholders both internally and externally to provide updates, reports, and insights.

Your Background

We are seeking an experienced leader who can strike a balance between driving exceptional results and empowering their team to manage day-to-day operations. You should be able to get the best out of people, even in challenging situations, and utilize your problem-solving skills to address issues on the fly.

A strong communicator, both written and verbal, with a proven track record of delivering outcomes. You should be able to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have a valid driver's license, with access to a reliable vehicle, due to the 24/7 roster requirement.

About Certis Security Australia
