Overview
At UGL, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in the North-West of Tasmania. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned project manager looking to take their skills to the next level. You will have extensive experience in managing large infrastructure projects, preferably in the water sector. Your strong leadership skills, combined with your ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions, will enable you to drive results and achieve success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality delivery;
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets;
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives;
- Identify and mitigate risks, as well as develop and implement mitigation strategies;
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards;
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams;
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary;

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A relevant qualification in project management, such as a Diploma or equivalent;
- Significant experience in managing large infrastructure projects, preferably in the water sector;
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective solutions and recommendations;
- Proficient skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook;
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly throughout Tasmania.
