Commercial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead a high-performing commercial team on a major infrastructure project in Tasmania. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you will guide contract and finance specialists, as well as commercial administrators, in managing all commercial aspects of the project.
Our client will support a candidate either based in Tasmania or willing to FIFO and be onsite 3 days per week.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, along with a proven ability to build strong relationships and manage the contractual and financial elements of large-scale civil / building projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the commercial team to ensure successful contract management, negotiations, and dispute resolution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and clients.
- Drive the financial and contractual performance of the project.
- Provide strategic commercial advice and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
- Work collaboratively to foster a high-performing and outcome-driven team.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in leadership and negotiation.
- Experience managing contracts, particularly in large infrastructure projects.
- A collaborative management style, fostering team outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Competitive salary $240K - $280K + Super + Vehicle.
