**Job Summary:** At Derwent Search, we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Manager to lead the development of software applications using Python, Java, and C++ programming languages. Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.


Main Responsibilities:


  • Design and Implement Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and implement solutions for desktop and web platforms.
  • Code Review and Quality Assurance: Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages, including Python and Java.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Experience with C++ programming language.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and containerization.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
