Advanced Practice Role for Dental Therapists

The Northern Territory is seeking experienced dental therapists to join our remote locum program. This unique opportunity allows healthcare professionals to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote communities.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver culturally safe care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
- Work on-site in remote clinics, providing treatment to patients.
- Free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
- Current Oral Health Scheduled Substance Treatment Protocol (SSTP) certificate required within the past 2 years.
- Minimum of Two years full-time post-graduate clinical relevant experience as a dental therapist.
- Immerse yourself in Aboriginal culture and explore breathtaking remote landscapes.
- Gain valuable experience working in rural and remote healthcare settings.
- Cultural orientation and 24/7 support provided to help you transition into remote healthcare.
- Locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, with travel and accommodation covered by us.
