The role
Langmore Dental is seeking a part-time hours / week) Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist to join our growing practice in Berwick, VIC. As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality preventive and therapeutic oral care to our patients.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Perform scaling, polishing, and other dental hygiene procedures to improve and maintain patients' oral health
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on diet and lifestyle choices to support good dental health
- Collaborate with the dentist to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain detailed clinical records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of best practice protocols within the practice
What we're looking for
- Registered Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist qualification
- Experience in the Dental industry preferred, however new graduates are welcome to apply
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients of all ages
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proficient in the use of dental equipment and digital technologies
