Job Title: Oral Health Care Specialist
Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dental Therapist/Oral Health Therapist to join our dental team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while working closely with other healthcare professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Conduct visual dental screenings to identify potential oral health issues in students.
- Provide basic preventive dental services such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Educate students on proper brushing and flossing techniques and good oral health habits.
- Refer students to our dental clinic if more advanced care is needed.
- Maintain accurate patient charts and records.
- Completion of an accredited Dental Therapy training program.
- Active Dental Therapist license in our state.
- Strong communication skills to educate students of all ages.
- Ability to relate well with children from diverse backgrounds.
- High level of professionalism working independently in schools.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
