Strategic Relationship Expertise:
\This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in building and maintaining strategic relationships with Tier 1 banks and financial institutions in Australia.
\The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Australian financial services landscape, including the complexities of credit, risk, capital markets, and regulatory workflows.
\They will possess exceptional C-level relationship-building skills, consultative selling abilities, and contract negotiation expertise.
\The successful candidate will also have strong knowledge of APRA/ASIC requirements and the ability to translate them into Moody's solutions.
\Additionally, they will have experience in strategic planning, pipeline management, and execution discipline, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
\Excellent communication, listening, presenting, and writing skills are essential for this role, as well as the confidence to influence senior external and internal stakeholders.
\Responsibilities include owning and expanding relationships with Australia's Tier 1 banks and FIs, spanning board and C-suite stakeholders, and setting multi-year account strategies that align with each client's priorities.
\The successful candidate will retain and grow revenue by cross-selling and up-selling the full Moody's Analytics suite, including credit, ESG, KYC/AML, regulatory reporting, data & analytics.
\They will lead the virtual account team through complex sales cycles, identifying new use-cases, negotiating commercial terms, and closing enterprise agreements.
\Furthermore, they will position Moody's insights in the context of local regulatory and industry trends, such as automation, climate risk, and digitized credit workflows.
\Key responsibilities also include delivering accurate forecasting and client feedback to senior leadership, surfacing cross-business leads where appropriate.
\Finally, travel (~50%) within Australia and regional hubs may be required to strengthen senior relationships and align global strategy.
