Safety Professional

We are seeking three highly skilled Health, Safety and Sustainability professionals to join our team as HSE Advisors.
The successful candidates will provide critical support to our line management team in executing our business strategy and promoting a positive safety culture throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation of HSE Strategy, Plan and Initiatives in line with assigned timeframes across NSW and ACT locations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including line managers, team members, HSRs, Committees, and other HSS team members
- Provide guidance and coaching on HSE program implementation and risk management, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Support Operational Management and teams on a day-to-day basis, leveraging facilitation, coaching and influencing skills to achieve desired HSE outcomes
- Implement audit and assurance programs according to schedule, including close out of associated non-conformances and observations
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in an HSE discipline
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within a large, diverse and multi-site organisation
- Broad understanding and working knowledge of WHS, Environment and Workers' Compensation legislation in relevant jurisdictions
- Demonstrated results in improving safety culture and HSE performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing health, safety, and environmental challenges
