About the Role

The City of Ryde is seeking an experienced professional to lead the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the streamlining of and engagement with our Health, Safety, and Wellbeing systems, policies, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach management and staff in contemporary WHS practices
  • Influence cultural change in a multi-disciplinary organisation
  • Implement WHS systems and build organisational capability
  • Provide guidance on NSW workers compensation system
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in WHS or related field
  • Sound working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Proven experience in influencing cultural change
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Current valid NSW drivers licence
