Job Description

A dynamic leadership role has become available at Michael Page for an experienced Director of Infrastructure and Public Realm Design to spearhead the development of sustainable infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize and implement innovative design solutions for infrastructure and public realm projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee design activities, facilitating efficient progress and adhering to project milestones.
  • Conduct site visits, providing proactive support to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
  • Provide technical assistance to project teams during construction, addressing constructability and engineering issues effectively.
  • Evaluate design review cycles, aiming to enhance overall efficiency.
  • Monitor compliance with project briefs, tracking deviations and design change orders monthly.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate design goals into overall project plans, resulting in cohesive outcomes.

The Successful ApplicantWe are seeking a seasoned professional with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning from a recognized university. A Master's Degree is preferred. Professional Engineer (PE) or Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification is also required. The ideal candidate will have 18+ years of experience in infrastructure and public realm design in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating dynamic leadership and comprehensive knowledge of governing bodies and regulatory organizations within KSA.

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
