About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of professionals who share your passion for empowering others. As a Client Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

You will be responsible for providing consumer-driven services, which may include:

  • Providing personalized support to help clients navigate their recovery journey
  • Developing and implementing individualized plans to meet clients' unique needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external partners to ensure seamless delivery of services
Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality customer service to clients and their families
  • Responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A bachelor's degree and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification or Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CRADC) certification in good standing with the State of Illinois
  • Or a bachelor's degree with five years' mental health, substance use, or other social service experience and obtain CADC within two years of hire
  • Or a combination of college and experience
  • Basic computer skills and experience using MS Word, email, and electronic medical records (EMRs)
Preferred Qualifications

We are particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Crisis intervention or co-occurring experience/training
  • A valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and insurability
