About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of a technical services team, where you will spend your day working across various electrical sites as a Power Transformer Specialist. Our company is challenging industry norms with large-scale projects and innovative technology for our customers.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking self-motivated and hands-on Power Transformer Trades & Technicians to join our High Voltage Field Service operation based in Newcastle, Australia. You will play a pivotal role within a crew of dedicated Transformer Specialists, undertaking site-based refurbishment, maintenance, installation, repair, and testing on significant power transformers around Australia.

About You

  • Experience in team leadership and supervision.
  • The ability to travel for work where required.
  • Significant experience working with transformers (variety of sizes up to 600MVA 500kV).
  • Experience with Transformer Oil Filtration (desirable but not essential).
  • Report preparation.
  • A current Unrestricted Driver's license.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Trade qualifications (Electrical, Mechanical or Fitter License).
  • A Driver's License.
  • A Construction Induction (White Card).
