The Opportunity

As our pipeline of work grows, we are seeking a Senior Associate to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines
  • Review of design requirements, site investigations, calculations, modeling, oversight of drafting, and preparation of reports and specifications
  • Building strong client relationships and demonstrating ability to understand client's core business
  • Providing solutions and service to clients both on and off site

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering discipline
  • Significant years of experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  • Knowledge of risk management with ability to identify project and design-related risks
  • Experience in managing medium to large engineering design projects
