Client Care Specialist Role

This role plays a vital part in supporting clients on their path to recovery. As a Client Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and help others achieve their goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver consumer-driven services that cater to individual needs and preferences.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive environment by modeling traits such as personal responsibility, self-advocacy, and hopefulness.
  • Link consumers with community resources to aid in their recovery and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and facility staff to ensure a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Respond to calls and messages, manage mail distribution, and monitor video surveillance equipment when necessary.
  • Promote the recovery model of treatment, including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
Required Qualifications and Skills:

A bachelor's degree is required, along with a Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) certification or Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Counselor (CRADC) certification. Alternatively, candidates with five years' experience in mental health, substance use, or social services may be considered if they obtain CADC within two years of hire.

Preference is given to candidates with crisis intervention or co-occurring experience/training. A valid driver's license, private automobile insurance, and insurability are also mandatory.
