Job Description

As a key member of our team, the employment consultant plays a vital role in supporting participants to achieve their identified goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with each participant using a place-based, strengths-based approach to caseload management and support them to overcome individual barriers.

The primary focus of this position is to deliver an individualised service to each participant addressing each of their barriers individually.

This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

Key aspects of this position include:

  • Delivering an individualised service to each participant addressing each of their barriers individually
  • Working with each participant in a culturally appropriate strengths-based model that supports them to achieve their goals
  • Ensuring that all program guidelines are met relating to service delivery
  • Ensuring that key performance measures are addressed
  • Undertaking post-placement support with the participants and support them to maintain those positions
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualification in Community Services is highly desirable and/or relevant experience.

Previous experience working with the ECSN system is essential for this role.

A thorough knowledge of the current CDP contract is also required.
