Job Description

MatchWorks is looking for a Business Development Officer to join our team. This role involves reverse marketing of identified engaged job ready clients to provide employment opportunities.

The successful candidate will have excellent organisational skills and a willingness to contribute to a positive culture across all our workplaces. They will also have the ability to assess labour market demand and supply, build strategies to address this, and maintain up to date and relevant Labour Market Information.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Reverse marketing of identified engaged job ready clients to provide employment opportunities.
  2. Utilise a variety of methods to actively & regularly engage with job ready clients across region including on or offsite and remote.
  3. Maintain up to date and relevant Labour Market Information and develop strategies to support and meet demands of shortage sectors.
  4. Provide support and advice, to employers on training and ongoing employment support provided from MatchWorks including departmental wage subsidies and incentives.
Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional who can provide a high level of customer service and engagement to assist those in the community with various barriers to employment to find suitable work.

  • Proven ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with clients, peers and relevant agencies.
  • Ability to assess labour market demand and supply and build strategies to address this.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated high level professionalism, attention to detail and compliance focused.
  • Ability to work within stringent KP'Is and demonstrated experience in exceeding targets.
  • Proven ability to manage time and workloads effectively to business priorities in a challenging environment.
  • Solid computer literacy and data management skills.
