Job Description

The Role of a Financial Strategist:

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Planning and Analysis leader to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving strategic investment decision-making capabilities, encompassing business case analysis, scenario planning, and return on investment (ROI) assessment.

You will optimize cash flow management by refining underlying models and data flows across key business streams. Additionally, you will manage a high-performing team of analysts, providing coaching, mentoring, and skill enhancement opportunities.

Sometimes, you may be asked to support ad-hoc projects, including planning system implementation and building data analytics capabilities.

Financial Leadership and Expertise

Providing Strategic Guidance:

You will provide strategic financial guidance to drive business growth and expansion. This involves analyzing complex financial data to inform business decisions and optimize performance.

You will design and implement advanced financial models to enhance forecasting accuracy and precision.

Furthermore, you will develop and nurture junior team members through coaching and mentoring initiatives.

About the Ideal Candidate
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, business intelligence, commercial finance, investment strategy, and financial systems implementation.
  • A proven track record in large, matrixed private or listed environments.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • A willingness to roll up sleeves and engage in detailed work as needed.
