Strategic Financial Planning Lead

We're looking for a skilled leader to join our team in Brisbane, driving the development and delivery of strategic financial plans for our clients.

About the Role
  • Lead financial planning projects for management planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax compliance, restructuring and reorganisation, and corporate strategy.
  • Identify issues and propose strategies related to procedures executed.
  • Assume leadership role in report generation and detailed financial modelling.
  • Build and nurture relationships with internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage project expenditures against budget and revenue, providing guidance to team members to ensure completion of work deliverables.
  2. Create financial models based on strategic business plans, utilising advanced numerical and analytical skills.
  3. Collaborate effectively with team members, mentor junior colleagues, and stay informed about current business trends relevant to clients.
  4. Mentor and develop junior team members through delegation and hands-on training, fostering an inclusive team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, engineering, economics, or IT.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience or 7 years with a master's degree.
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical skills, preferably with a background in finance or accounting.
  • Strong financial modelling skills with ability to create models based on strategic business plans.
  • Ability to manage project expenditures and provide guidance to team members.
