About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective internal audit program that ensures the integrity and compliance of our operations. You will work closely with our management team to identify and mitigate risks, and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an effective internal audit program that ensures the integrity and compliance of our operations.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess risk management and governance processes.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with our management team to identify and address any operational issues.
  • Prepare and present audit reports to our senior management team and board of directors.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary and post-graduate qualifications in accounting or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a not-for-profit organisation or a similar industry sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with our management team to achieve common goals.
