About the Role- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Concierge and Bell Desk departments, ensuring the promotion of positive guest relations and a welcoming environment.
- Assist guests with special requests, requirements, and solve problems to assure guests' comfort and satisfaction.
- Recruit, develop, and train the Concierge and Bell Desk team, including performance reviews.
- Respond to guest feedback and implement changes to prevent reoccurrence.
- Supervise and add value to the activities of all team members by providing leadership to ensure maximum productivity and guest satisfaction.
- Curate memorable experiences at a 5-star level to ensure guests are provided the best recommendations throughout their journey.
- Create a positive work environment that facilitates team member motivation, builds morale, and teamwork.
- Manage the bell team with scheduling, performance management, and training & development procedures.
- Extensive leadership experience in Hotel or Guest Services environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Sydney, tourist attractions, restaurants, theatres, sporting events, harbour cruises, fashion, and retail.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- The ability to speak a second language (highly regarded but not essential).
- Adaptable with exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Passionate to deliver excellent guest experiences.
