As a senior professional, you will lead our Compliance Department at our Wilpinjong Mine. Your key responsibilities include providing strategic leadership to the department, ensuring effective service and support to site operations, and fostering engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead Compliance Functionality: Develop and implement compliance strategies that drive business success and maintain our operational license.
  • Risk Management: Oversee risk management and training systems to ensure they are robust and effective.
  • Compliance Verification: Manage internal and external compliance verification processes to ensure we meet regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Alignment: Align our compliance calendar with site operations to minimize disruption.

To be successful in this role, you will have a minimum of 15 years' experience in mining operations, qualifications in compliance-related fields, and knowledge of NSW Coal Mines Compliance requirements.

Key skills include interacting with NSW Government Regulatory Institutions, such as the Resources Regulator and DPIE, and maintaining collaborative relationships with site teams and corporate groups.
