Hse & Compliance Manager

Our Wilpinjong Mine is currently seeking a Compliance Manager to provide planning and leadership to the Compliance Department (HST, Environment & Communities, Project Development & Approvals).
The role involves ensuring effective service and support to site operations and fostering engagement with internal and external stakeholders.Duties will include:Leading mine support functions such as Health, Safety, Training, Environment, Biodiversity, Community, Property, Project Development, and Approvals to support safe, productive operations and maintain the license to operate.Enhancing organisational efficiency through cross-function support integration and consolidating common functions into single accountability roles where possible.Maintaining and improving the site's centralised Compliance Management System, including standards, procedures, and legal requirements.Continuously improving site risk management and training systems.Managing internal and external compliance verification processes.Overseeing the compliance calendar to align with site operations.Monitoring industry and legal developments to ensure timely and compliant operational changes.Maintaining collaborative relationships with SLT, other site teams, and corporate groups.Supporting effective project development through engagement with study groups.The lifestyle:This role is based on a Monday to Friday roster, with one RDO per month.
