
Admissions Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable professional to join our team as an Admissions Coordinator.
This part-time role involves shifts from Monday to Wednesday, with start times rotating between 6am, 8am, or 10am (8 hours including breaks).
The successful candidate will be responsible for checking in and admitting patients for private elective surgeries and public waitlist bookings.
Key responsibilities include undertaking effective and efficient patient administration activities in accordance with hospital policies, interacting with multiple stakeholders from various disciplines, and having direct contact with patients.
High standards of customer service are essential, reflected in positive patient and stakeholder experiences.
- Exceptional customer service skills, responding to patients and stakeholders in a timely, efficient, friendly, and courteous manner
- Operational efficiency, providing accurate and timely data entry
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management, multi-tasking, and prioritization abilities
- Understanding of medical terminology and health fund contracts
- High level of computer literacy
- Team-oriented attitude, promoting a professional and positive team culture, communicating effectively, and liaising with departments such as Front Office, reception, and medical teams
