About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Signalling Project Engineer to join our Rail Operations team in Sydney.
Rail Operations is a business unit within Laing O'Rourke, specialising in rail delivery. Our team of technical experts delivers a high portfolio of work across New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate railway signalling construction and installation activities to achieve project objectives.
- Manage the signalling design contractor and design process.
- Ensure interface between design, procurement, site works, and testing & commissioning meet project requirements.
- Review signalling design drawings, reports, and data for correctness and alignment with stakeholders.
- Ensure rail safety assurance processes are followed.
- Provide technical support to Laing O'Rourke rail projects as required.
- Adhere to and promote Laing O'Rourke health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure rail systems are completed on time, to budget, and to a high standard.
About You
- You will have a relevant engineering degree combined with significant experience in Rail Signalling on large scale civil/rail projects, ideally in Australia.
- Rail signalling experience must be clearly reflected on your resume to be considered for this role.
- Valid Driving Licence & ability to pass a pre-employment medical; including drug and alcohol screening
- Construction Industry Induction & Rail Industry Worker (RIW)
