Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals with varying disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to individuals with varying disabilities, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
  • Support individuals in attending medical appointments, accessing community resources, social inclusion, and wellbeing activities, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals, respecting their dignity and autonomy.
  • Monitor and document client progress and care provided, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, therapists, and other team members to ensure holistic care and support.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities (not essential)
  • A genuine passion for supporting and empowering individuals with disabilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in disability support, healthcare, or a related field are desirable.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to use and access a smart phone for clocking in/out and shift notes.
