**Job Summary**

Lion is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Safety Leader to join our manufacturing team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Develop Safety Standards: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain safety standards, specifications, and critical control documentation.
  • Coach and Develop Teams: Provide guidance and training to employees on process safety and risk management best practices.
  • Manage Safety Governance: Ensure excellence in process safety governance, including risk and incident management, contractor oversight, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Validate and Support Safety Initiatives: Review, refine, and enhance safety standards, specifications, and critical control documentation to maintain the highest safety standards.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in managing complex, large-scale projects across an organization.
  • Expertise in Change Management: Proven ability to lead change initiatives across various functions and locations.
  • Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in engineering or strong technical knowledge in a related field.
  • Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
