About the Role:
This is an exceptional opportunity to join our organization as a Senior Risk Governance Specialist, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our data governance strategy.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert risk insights and supporting the uplift of data risk maturity across the organization. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including leadership teams and business units, to ensure that data governance processes are effective and compliant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent risk insights related to organizational data to leadership teams.
- Support the uplift of data risk maturity by increasing awareness and clarity of expectations among business units.
- Enable effective delivery and management of initiatives that materially impact data governance process and controls.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of risk management frameworks in insurance organizations.
- Knowledge or experience of management and regulatory activity on risk management-related matters in insurance organizations.
- Experience with information security controls and solutions, with the ability to drive technical data protection conversations and data privacy best practices - highly desirable.
- Familiarity with IP, data management, data governance, and data privacy regulations.
- Ability to work autonomously and maintain effective communication across different business, technical, and risk teams.
