About the Role

">

The Senior Risk Governance Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Business Lending's risk governance framework is effective and aligned to industry standards.

This position reports directly to the Senior Manager - Governance & Monitoring, who oversees the development and implementation of risk governance strategies across the organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Business Lending Risk Committees and forums, as well as contributing to the creation or maintenance of reporting and dashboards using Data Analytics, Automation and Visualisation Tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Business Lending Risk Committees and forums to ensure effective risk management practices are implemented and maintained.
  • Contribute to the development of reporting and dashboards using Data Analytics, Automation and Visualisation Tools.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance and/or automate reporting including dashboards.
  • Deliver high-quality reporting analytics, insights and disclosure to support effective risk management across BL.
  • Develop automated Control-Self Assessment (CSA) testing for SOx and other data or system related Controls using Alteryx.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a large and complex organisation with relevant risk experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Data Analytics, Automation and Visualisation Tools.
  • Experience in working with large datasets and datawarehouses, including understanding of data relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptive influencing and relationship building skills across peers.
