AWS Analytics Business Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist to join our team, focused on driving growth and adoption of AWS Analytics solutions among startups. As a key member of our Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Startup team, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies that help startups scale quickly and cost-effectively on AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy programs that leverage AWS Field teams, technology, and consulting partner channels to drive top-line revenue and explore strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release plans.
- Work with Marketing to develop and align digital marketing campaigns to drive awareness and demand for AWS Analytics solutions.
- Owning the GTM strategy and execution for Analytics in Startup ANZ, collaborating with teams in the field including Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant GTM, Sales, or Consulting experience.
- 5+ years of technology domain experience in data modeling and warehousing, data lakes, data integration and ETL process, and big data technologies.
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Product, BD, or Sales Executive capacity.
- Established track record of building rapport with Startup executives and closing strategic deals.
- Familiarity with open-source software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Strong data-based storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
