About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Broadcast Specialist to join our team at SBS. As a key member of our Technical Operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our broadcast technology systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal clients, managed services providers, and vendors to meet our broadcast technology needs.
  • Document and maintain support for SBS's Broadcast Technology systems.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' technical experience in a broadcast or related industry.
  • Tertiary education in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Expertise in audio and video, media over an IP network, including codecs and standards such as SMPTE 2110 and AES67.
  • Proven track record with hands-on experience supporting non-linear environments, traditional style equipment, and other critical broadcast technology.
  • Experience in managing outsource providers is highly desirable.
