Empowering Individuals: Disability Support Specialist

The Behavioural Support Practitioner will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with participants, their families and carers to identify and address complex support needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments to understand participant needs and goals, informing the development of tailored support plans
- Work closely with participants, families and carers to evaluate and refine support plans, ensuring they reflect individual needs and aspirations
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver evidence-based support strategies, prioritising positive behaviour support and eliminating restrictive practices
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with participants, families and carers, fostering trust and confidence in our support services
- Degree-level qualification as an allied health professional
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and demands
