Our organization provides assistance to individuals with disabilities, helping them live independently and achieve their goals. As a Disability Support Staff, you will play a vital role in making a real difference in the lives of our clients.
We are seeking compassionate and reliable support workers who have handled complex clients in Australia to join our team. If you possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for supporting people with disabilities, we encourage you to apply for this challenging and rewarding role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social support and companionship to individuals with disabilities.
- Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, domestic duties, and medication management.
- Support clients with mobility, transportation, and social activities.
- Empower clients to live as independently as possible, fostering dignity and respect.
- Assist with light household duties and community engagement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent within Australia is a must.
- 1+ year of work experience within the NDIS sector (excluding placements).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Current NDIS screening check and WWCC.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car with insurance for transportation of clients.
